Living Rock Ministries – Soupfest Set for February 27th
Get ready and bring your appetite; the 22nd annual Soupfest starts soon! Come together for a cause and enjoy a fun, local, culinary experience on Tuesday, February 27, at the Convention Centre by Carmen’s!
More than just delicious soups, Soupfest is “stirring up support for youth.” As the major annual fundraiser for Living Rock Youth Centre, a local non-profit in Hamilton since 1985, Soupfest channels its proceeds into programs and resources that uplift underserved youth. Living Rock provides a vital place of belonging, safety, and community connection, nurturing young individuals to pursue their dreams.
With a ticket, you’ll enjoy four 4-oz bowls of soup from local eateries, all while contributing to a meaningful cause. The best of the bunch will be decided when community supporters of all ages gather to sample an array of soups and cast their votes for categories like “Best Soup”, “Most Creative Soup”, “Best Display”, and “Tastiest Heart Smart”. Plus, the festival’s own distinguished Tasting Panel will blind-taste all the soups to determine their favourites.
