Hooper Law is proud to announce that Robert J. Hooper has been appointed as a Member of the Ontario Province Committee of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) for the 2025–2026 term. His appointment will officially begin at the conclusion of the 2025 Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., and continue through to the 2026 Annual Meeting in New York City.

The Ontario Province Committee is central to the ACTL’s operations within the province. Members of this committee play a vital role in safeguarding the College’s integrity by identifying and supporting candidates for Fellowship while promoting the College’s high standards of professionalism and advocacy throughout Ontario.

Mr. Hooper’s selection speaks to the deep respect he has earned among his peers and to his dedication to upholding the foundational principles of the College. As a Fellow of the ACTL, he has long embodied the core values of civility, competence, and commitment to justice that the organization represents.

This appointment is both a recognition of Mr. Hooper’s significant contributions to the trial bar and a testament to his ongoing commitment to strengthening the profession. Through his work with the Ontario Province Committee, he will continue to advance the College’s mission of maintaining and improving the standards of trial practice across Canada and the United States.
